Masters of Education in Administration and Supervision
The Administration and Supervision specialization is intended for educators with interest in pursuing knowledge and expertise in school administration. The degree program emphasizes school law, education finance, community relations, roles and responsibilities of the principal, and supervision of personnel. Included in the curriculum are research components including an Action Research Project. Through the identification and examination of major problems connected to the student's area of professional responsibilities and interest, all project work combines theoretical aspects of education and the practical experience of the adult learner.
The following admission requirements are expected to be met by all applicants to this program:
1) A nationally or regionally accredited U.S. bachelor degree
2) A cumulative graduate GPA of 2.5 or higher
3) 3 or more years of full-time, post high school work experience
4) A minimum of 18 months instructional experience in a P-12 setting
